I personally find the “Thank God nothing bad happened to me blah blah blah” a just bit too self-centered. I mean what the fuck, there are 6 billion people dead in Japan right now because of the earthquake, what are they supposed to feel jealous of you? What makes you think you’re so fucking special? Those affected people, are they, I don’t know, not special enough or something? I really don’t get it
Try this. Imagine if all of your family and friends lived in Japan, and were all affected by the earthquake and now they are all dead. And then you read a status in Facebook or something like “Thank God I’m so safe and my family and all my friends as well he cares for us and He loves me and my family so much”. How would you feel about that? My apologies also if I offended you in one way or another that wasn’t really my intention. I was just ranting. Peace
